As a refinement to the original Moyes Bridle Tow Release, the LiteFlite Bridle Tow Release for hang gliders has been developed.  Utilising a sliding hook pin release mechanism used on modern chest tow release systems, the LiteFlite Bridle Release system consists of less hardware, is lighter and more compact than its predecessor.

The kit consists of the keel mounted release with release cable, and a Spectra rope bridle.  The release mechanism is attached to the keel and can be positioned to suit the type of hang glider, as well as the style of the pilot.  The bicycle style release cable is securely Velcroed to the upright with the end positioned near the basebar.  The Spectra rope bridle is then secured to the harness and attached to the release mechanism.  Pulling the wire loop at the of the release cable releases the bridle.  The bridle can easily be re-attached to the release mechanism allowing the pilot to quickly setup for the next tow.
